Job Description Medical Director - Heart Failure Program opening in Charlotte, NC Located in Charlotte, NCFull-time; Permanent positionEmployed opportunity Overview: Due to system growth and expansion, we are recruiting for a Medical Director, Advanced Heart Failure for our Charlotte region The Medical Director of Heart Failure will split his or her time between clinical practice and administration The Medical Director will lead the organization in heart failure outcomes initiatives S/he will contribute to the continued growth and development of our heart failure program, including establishing a destination left ventricular assist device (LVAD) center at Medical Center as well as outreach and clinical support at our six surrounding hospitals and 11 ambulatory sites within the Charlotte area Clinical consultative cardiology Proficiency in the management of the entire spectrum of heart failure Fellowship training in heart failure including mechanical circulatory support and recent exposure to contemporary management of the heart failure patient through all care transitions is preferred System-wide EHR-Epic Comp/Benefits: Two-year salary guarantee Relocation allowance Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance Comprehensive medical and retirement benefits Paid leave benefits Malpractice coverage About the Area: The greater Charlotte market offers attractive living in both metro and surrounding suburbs.
