POSITION SUMMARY

Monarch Paving Company is seeking a qualified Contract Administrator to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of contract administration and procedural principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Contract Administrator will work closely with the Division Controller, and support Area and Project Managers.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, customers and vendors to support business functions as needed.
• Red-line contracts with the ability to understand contract provisions and act as liaison between the legal department and contractors.
• Coordinate and process project contracts and procurement requirements.
• Request and submit required documentation from outside vendors, customers, subcontractors as well as internal business contacts as needed.
• Review, approve and pay subcontractor invoices.
• Invoice project receivables.
• Work with the company's business management software (Viewpoint Vista) to provide information needed for efficient business operations.
• Use WisDOT Civil Rights & Labor System (CRL) to assign subcontractors to projects, enter and confirm subcontractor payments.
• Manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
• Crosstrain and assist in other areas of business as needed.

This is a full-time hourly position located on-site in (LOCATION) working Monday - Friday.

Position Requirements

• Experience in contract administration and procedures preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other company programs.
• Experience with Viewpoint Vista accounting software is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
