CNC Machine Operator

CTR Group is seeking a CNC Machine Operator local to the Newport News, VA area. Immediate openings and urgently hiring! What We Offer: Weekly Pay you receive a paycheck every week Comprehensive Benefits Package Safety First! Pay: $18 - $20 Duties Include: Use CNC machine to bend sheet metal; Use CNC machine to insert hardware in sheet metal; Join metal sheets together with spot welding machine; Set up, clean and maintain tooling; Check parts produced for dimensional accuracy; Produce the maximum number of parts in minimum time by working efficiently; Material handling using forklift or pallet jack, and by hand; Count and stack finished parts; Deburr parts; Monitor quality during production; Maintain equipment & troubleshoot malfunctions; Other tasks as required; Follow company procedures and safety rules. Requirements: Be comfortable using a computer to operate equipment; Be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers as needed; Be able to lift up to 75 lbs; Have experience setting up and operating CNC manufacturing equipment; Be able to read basic blueprints; Be able to use calipers and other precision measuring tools.
