Rehab Aide Position at Spaulding

Rehab Aide Needed for Spaulding. Responsible for performing routine exercises or follow-up of functional activities (direct patient care) under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist or therapy assistant. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes. Essential Functions include preparing patients for treatment by therapist, assisting therapists during therapy, attending and actively participating in team meetings, transferring and transporting patients in a safe and timely manner, and maintaining equipment and working area in clean, orderly condition.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, experience working as a rehab aid (0-1 year preferred), knowledge of medical terminology, excellent attention to detail, excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, good bedside manner, and good physical strength and stamina for lifting and moving immobile patients.
