UMMG Staff Physician - Diagnostic Radiology, Cardiothoracic or Thoracic, Abdominal

Position Overview The Department of Radiology at the Leonard Miller University of Miami School of Medicine (UMSOM) invites applications for a full‑time Staff Physician—community radiologist in the Cardiothoracic and Thoracic‑Abdominal Community Imaging Staff. The applicant would join 13 abdominal and 7 cardiothoracic radiologists across multiple facilities, including Jackson Memorial Hospital and UMSOM Hospitals and Clinics, with primary coverage at one of five state‑of‑the‑art ambulatory care facilities in northern Miami‑Dade and Broward counties. Responsibilities The ideal candidate has completed a fellowship in abdominal and/or cardiothoracic imaging and would preferably be able to interpret within both subspecialty areas. Responsibilities include: Providing clinical imaging services to interpret X‑rays, CT, MRI, ultrasound examinations, and certain non‑invasive fluoroscopic procedures. Being available for on‑site clinical consultations for patients in clinic. Optionally participating in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students. Engaging in clinical research, journal club, and weekly multidisciplinary conferences. UMSOM provides ample meeting and vacation time, excellent fringe benefits, and a tuition reimbursement package. The compensation package is competitive relative to academia. Qualifications Florida Medical License. Board certification or board eligibility. Fellowship in abdominal imaging and/or cardiothoracic imaging.
