Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A) to join our healthcare team in City, State . Job Summary

The Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A) assists nursing staff in the implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that the needs of our residents and patients are met with dignity and respect. The C.N.A will be responsible for performing tasks in compliance with established policies and procedures while maintaining a focus on patient privacy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents and patients with daily living activities such as eating, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Provide education, recreation, and transportation support as needed.
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs and intake/output metrics, reporting any significant changes to the nursing team promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold resident/patient rights at all times.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Assist with the orientation of residents, patients, and their families to the unit and available services.
• Deliver patient care as directed by the nursing staff in alignment with established care plans.
• Demonstrate empathy towards residents, patients, and their families, especially in challenging situations.
• Adapt to changing circumstances and seek assistance in problem-solving when necessary.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A) License in the state of Maine.
• Effective listening and communication skills to assess and support resident/patient needs.
• Ability to maintain a high standard of patient care and demonstrate compassion in all interactions.
• Flexibility in scheduling and adapting to the needs of the unit and patients.
