Line Cook

Line Cook Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday Wednesday-Saturday: 1:00 PM-8:30/9:00 PM Sunday: 6-hour dedicated cleaning shift This position works in a small, open bistro kitchen . Because the kitchen is visible and audible to our guests, professionalism is extremely important. The employee will assist with dishwashing, line cooking, cleaning, restocking, and closing duties. We need someone dependable who takes direction well, stays productive, and understands that keeping the kitchen clean is everyone's responsibility. This is a hands-on position. There is always something that can be cleaned, stocked, organized, or prepared. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to standards Assist with dishwashing and maintaining clean workstations Restock the line, coolers, and kitchen supplies Clean and sanitize prep tables, cooking equipment, and food-contact surfaces Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen cleanliness throughout the shift Take out garbage and break down cardboard Complete closing duties to ensure the kitchen is ready for the next day's service Participate in weekly deep-cleaning tasks What We're Looking For Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic and willingness to stay productive Ability to take direction and work as part of a team Professional communication and conduct Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical cleaning tasks Requirements Closed-toe, slip-resistant shoes Ability to lift, bend, reach, and perform cleaning duties Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required Why Join Us?
