Position Overview:

V&E Hospitality Group is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Dishwashers. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations, ensuring that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are consistently clean and ready for use. Key Responsibilities:

1. Dishwashing: Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
2. Kitchen Cleaning: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area by regularly emptying trash, cleaning food preparation areas, and ensuring equipment is clean and in good working order.
3. Utensil and Equipment Sorting: Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in an organized manner for easy access by kitchen staff.
4. Assist Kitchen Team: Provide support to kitchen staff as needed, including helping with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks during busy periods.
5. Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents.
6. Inventory Control: Monitor and report any shortages or issues with dishwashing supplies and equipment.
7. Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Dishwasher in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate commercial dishwashing equipment and follow safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical qualifications:

• Ability to move throughout the dining room effectively.

• Ability to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 15lbs and bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs.

• Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions.
