Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care for high-risk neonates in a Level II NICU setting. The position requires working night shifts with 12-hour hours, ensuring the delivery of quality patient care to neonates from 29 to 34 weeks gestation and above.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission). At least 1 year of experience working in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU); certifications include BLS, NRP, and STABLE.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, charting experience with Epic, and prior community hospital or Level II NICU experience.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have experience attending high-risk deliveries, breastfeeding support, handling of breast milk, and managing neonates between 29-34 weeks gestation. Additional responsibilities include ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP), UAC (Umbilical Artery Catheter) and UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter) lines, and CPAP management. Some weekly floating between sister facilities may be required. Candidates must be flexible with holiday scheduling and RTO requests must be made upfront during submittal.
