Warehouse Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Specialist to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. In this dynamic role, you will spend 75% of your time on the warehouse floor, building crates for product shipment, managing inventory, handling shipping and receiving tasks, and packaging. The remaining 25% of your time will be spent behind a computer, completing purchase orders, working within our ERP system, and scheduling product shipments.

Responsibilities

Build crates for product shipment.
Manage inventory control.
Handle shipping and receiving tasks.
Package products for shipment.
Complete purchase orders.
Work within ERP system to schedule product shipments.

Essential Skills

Strong background in warehouse settings.
Above average computer skills.
Proficiency in inventory control.
Experience with shipping and receiving.
Skill in hand tool operation.
Material handling expertise.
RF scanner operation.
Warehouse inventory management.
Crate building.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

ERP system experience is highly preferred.
Ability to manage purchase orders.

Work Environment

Work in a medium-sized manufacturing facility located in Southeast Boise, with approximately 35 employees on-site, including 18 on the production floor/warehouse. The shift is from 6am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday. Dress code includes safety shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, ID.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
