Stdnt Affairs Prog Spec Job Duties: The Marketing & Events Coordinator plays a pivotal role in advancing the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business mission by creating meaningful connections that support student success, community engagement and educational access. This dynamic position leads strategic marketing and communications initiatives, develops compelling content across digital and print platforms, and plans high-impact events that bring students, alumni, employers, faculty, staff and community partners together. Guided by UW-Green Bay's mission of providing an innovative, problem-focused educational experience and aligned with the University's strategic priorities-including student success, inclusivity, digital transformation and community connections-the Coordinator serves as a catalyst for engagement, promoting opportunities that help learners thrive and rise. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller, relationship builder and strategic organizer who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Working across academic programs, centers and student organizations, the Coordinator develops marketing strategies that strengthen the Cofrin School of Business brand, executes engaging student- and employee-focused events, supports student leadership development, and uses data-driven insights to continually improve outcomes. Key Job Responsibilities: Events:
Position is a full-time Academic Staff appointment. A pre-employment education check which includes, but is not limited to, the verification of academic credentials will be conducted on the finalist(s). A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s) and if there is prior work history within the last 7 years with Universities of Wisconsin, a personnel file review check for employee misconduct. For benefits eligible positions, this includes several health insurance options, with annual deductibles as low as $250/individual and $500/family. Our benefits package also includes dental, vision, several life insurance options, AD&D and Accident insurance and Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts. We participate in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS), where employer contributions begin immediately, and employees are fully vested after 5 years of service. The Universities of Wisconsin also provides supplemental retirement savings programs including a 403(b) and Deferred Compensation.
In addition, eligible employees receive several types of paid leave benefits, which are prorated for employees working less than 100%. This includes 9 legal holidays, 36 hours of personal holiday and between 96-130 hours of sick leave annually and paid parental leave. Eligible employees earn 13-27 days of vacation each year, depending on years of service and employment type.

- Plans and executes most student-facing and employee-facing college-level events, in collaboration with co-hosts, and with help from Student Engagement Assistant
- Serves on engagement-related committees and working groups: CSB Recruitment Committee (bi-weekly), Community Relations working group (monthly), K12 relations working group (quarterly), All Campus Programmers (semesterly)
- Organizes student-focused programming and resources to promote new and ongoing educational initiatives
- Generates and analyzes reports of events and marketing outcomes
- Leads college-level marketing strategy and implementation across various projects in the Cofrin School of Business, with help from Student Marketing Assistant
- Writes, edits, and publishes content for various communication projects and marketing platforms to align with strategic initiatives and established communication campaigns
- Supports CSB Student Orgs by being a point of contact for advisors and student org leaders, connecting them with answers and resources
- Manages the Signature Events and Activity Fund
- Chairs the Student Leadership Council, which functions as a CSB student focus group
- Assists Centers with brainstorming, events, conference travel, social media, student engagement, recruiting student worker Lab Assistants
- Bachelor's degree at time of application
- Possession of or eligibility to obtain a valid drivers license upon appointment
- Experience with marketing and/or event planning
