PD Physical Therapist Location: Community Medical Center, 99 Highway 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755 Department: Physical Therapy Requisition #: 0000248720 Status: Per Diem (Hourly) Shift: Day Pay Range: $70.95 per hour Job Overview The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and implements physical therapy treatments for acute care patients. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, this role is essential in delivering compassionate care and advancing the quality of life for patients. The position requires a skilled clinician who can safely manage patient care and clinical documentation in a fast‑paced environment. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in the State of New Jersey Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Previous clinical experience in an inpatient setting Active Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification Proficiency with computers and electronic health record systems Successful completion of all required healthcare orientation programs Scheduling Requirements Per Diem (Day) Essential Functions Evaluate, plan, and implement specialized physical therapy treatments based on individual patient needs. Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation regarding patient progress and treatment protocols. Safely operate physical therapy equipment and manage physical patient contact to minimize safety risks. Maintain professional communications with patients, families, medical staff, and administrative departments.
