Registered Nurse CVICU

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado


Pay Rate: $2,250 to $2,500/week


Contract: 13 weeks


Schedule: 12-hour day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM


Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week


Experience: Minimum 3 years required


About the Role


We are seeking an experienced CVICU / CCU Registered Nurse for a 13-week day-shift contract opportunity in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This role supports a critical care setting with CVICU and CCU coverage, including patients connected to cardiac and hybrid cath lab services. The ideal candidate must have strong Day 0 CVICU experience and be confident providing high-acuity critical care in a smaller independent hospital environment.


Responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care for CVICU and CCU patients
• Monitor critically ill cardiac and critical care patients and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Support post-procedure and cardiac patients related to cath lab and hybrid cath lab services
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to critical care standards
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team


Requirements
• Active Colorado Registered Nurse License Required
• Minimum 3 years of RN Critical Care experience required
• Strong CVICU skills and Day 0 CVICU experience required
• BLS/BCLS And ACLS Certifications From American Heart Association Required
• Must be available for day shifts, weekend rotation, holiday coverage, possible call rotation, and 75-mile radius rule
