What You'll Do

Newport Healthcare is seeking an enthusiastic RN or LPN to provide on-site nursing and care in our supportive and nurturing facilities. If you are passionate about helping young individuals navigate their health journeys, we want to hear from you!

SHIFT: 7PM - 7:30AM every third weekend rotation

$2,500 sign-on bonus

What You'll Do:
• Administering medications and monitoring vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation in medical records.
• Evaluating medical complaints and concerns from residents, effectively communicating with our Nurse Practitioners and Physicians.
• Developing and implementing treatment plans, providing direct care and nursing services as prescribed.
• Monitoring chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures, ensuring timely interventions.
• Maintaining comprehensive medical records and logs, adhering to all mandated reporting and infection control protocols.
• Collaborating with BHS regarding medication management and refills.
• Participating in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, contributing your expertise to enhance patient care.


What Makes You a Great Fit

• • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Nursing Degree;
  • Licensure: Current RN licensure with the Minnesota State Board of Nursing is a must.
• • Experience: Ideally, you bring previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with adolescents and/or young adults
• • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to make sound judgment calls in high-pressure scenarios.
• • Team Player: A positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork, fostering a collaborative environment.
• • Tech-Savvy: Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• • Crisis Management: Ability to react quickly and calmly as part of a team in emergent situations.
• • Quality Focus: A proactive mindset that seeks to improve quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.

**Pay range for this position is $37 to $53 depending on education and experience.
