This shift is scheduled for 6:30 AM- 3:00 PM, Monday- Friday./ph3What We Do Accountabilities/h3ulliAssures property safety procedures are followed./liliAssures compliance of company policies at all times./liliAssures the maintenance of facilities; Housekeeping 5S/liliAssures high quality standards in performance of operational processes are reached./liliAssures daily operations are completed efficiently with daily goals accomplished./li/ulh3Essential Functions/h3ulliMeets or exceeds Labor standards/KPIs/liliPhysically and systematically process inventory transactions by case or pair through the facility./liliPerform processing activities as defined by the work instruction by functional area./liliOperate equipment as required by functional work area. (for example- Carton erector)/liliWork at a steady pace and with a sense of urgency./liliMaintain a high attention to detail./liliPack cartons in a neat and orderly fashion./liliEnsure the correct shipping label is applied to the outbound carton./liliPerform Quality assurance activities as required./liliPerform value add activities as required./liliAssist in resolution of operational issues./liliCommunicate operational errors to supervisors./liliIdentify opportunities for improvement and implement as best practices./liliAdopt and support changes in policies and procedures./liliPerform training while also participating in cross-training activities./liliMaintain equipment and supply stocks./liliPerform 5 S Audit as requested./liliCommunicate effectively at all levels of the organization./liliAbility to learn new order processing technology./liliAssist in other areas of the operation./liliAbility to take direction and feedback./liliAbility to comprehend and apply work instructions./liliNavigate through warehouse on a forklift, safely, to efficiently and effectively obtain items for customer orders/li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications Education/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred/lili1-2 years warehouse and forklift experience preferred/liliExperience using RF devices preferred/liliMust be able to safely operate an Order Picker/liliAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without an accommodation/liliExperience with Crown equipment a plus/liliAble to be on feet for the entire shift./liliMay be required to work at heights, such as mezzanines, order pickers, and use ladders./liliMust be willing to learn and be able to show proficiency on different types of PIT equipment as business needs dictate./liliMust be capable of performing basic math./liliRemain calm and effective in high-pressure situations./liliMust be able to work extended hours or days/li/ulh3Physical Requirements and/or Environment/h3ulliDistribution Center/li/ulpFamous Footwear is part of Caleres Inc., a diverse portfolio of 15 global footwear brands including Sam Edelman, Naturalizer, Vionic, Dr. Scholls, Allen Edmonds, and many more.
