Senior Oracle Database Administrator
Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 6 months
Seeking for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator responsible for managing Oracle database environments across cloud and on-premises platforms. Ensure high availability, performance, and compliance of mission-critical applications.
Enterprise Database Administration: Manage Oracle databases (11g-23c) across OCI, AWS, and on-premises. Administer multi-tenant architectures, RAC, and Data Guard.
Cloud & Hybrid Architecture: Design and manage Oracle deployments in OCI and AWS. Implement hybrid connectivity and lead cloud migration initiatives.
Performance & Capacity Management: Monitor performance using AWR, ASH, and OEM. Tune SQL and database configurations. Forecast capacity growth.
Backup, Recovery & High Availability: Implement RMAN backup strategies. Maintain disaster recovery solutions and ensure RPO/RTO targets are met.
Security & Compliance: Enforce database security standards, support audits, and implement least-privilege access.
Automation & DevOps Enablement: Develop automation using Shell, Python, Ansible, and integrate operations into CI/CD pipelines.
Data Governance & Quality Enablement: Support data initiatives, ensure alignment with governance standards, and optimize data accessibility.
Operational Excellence: Provide 24/7 support, troubleshoot incidents, and maintain documentation and SOPs.
