Excellent benefits start the first of the month after your start date; competitive salaries, cutting edge technology and a most pleasant workplace are features of employment at our firm.We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and friendly Desktop Applications Specialist in our Columbia office. Responsibilities include: New user account creation, management, and role-based security assignmentsImaging endpoints and installing Windows applicationsAssist with troubleshooting firm desktops and laptops in a Microsoft Windows 10/11 environmentEnd-user application support providing prompt, courteous, and efficient solutions for hardware, software, and information services problems to all usersIdentify, research, and address technical problems to final resolutionTravel to all seven offices in South Carolina and Augusta, GA to provide onsite support as neededProvide after hours and weekend support to end users on rotation with IT team Candidates should have the following skills and/or attributes: Associates or Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field2-3 years Help Desk experience or Application Support, preferably in a law firmIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional suite, including creating macros, advanced document formatting, mail merge, and managing custom add-insFamiliarity with SCCM task sequences, PXEBoot and Group PolicyWorking knowledge of document management software such as iManage and document templating softwareThorough knowledge and understanding of networked PC's and printers in a Windows network and the ability to efficiently troubleshoot technical problems.Experience using Active Directory to maintain security and permissions for users and devices at a domain level Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate both verbally and written with a diverse group of IT professionals, attorneys and staffProven analytical skills and problem-solving techniquesSalary range: $47,000.00 - $52,000.00Turner, Padget, Graham & Laney is committed to creating and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workforce, including attorneys and support staff, and conducting business with diverse clients.The firm broadly views diversity as all differences that make us unique and special-life and work experiences, culture and beliefs, race, color, national origin, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, marital status, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, education, military service, differing abilities, and other distinguishing characteristics and aspects of life.
