Family Counselor - FPS

Acenda Integrated Health is recruiting for a Family Counselor to support the Family Preservation Services Program in Mercer County, New Jersey. The role involves providing short‑term intensive, in‑home counseling to families. Responsibilities Provide short‑term, intensive, in‑home counseling to two families at a time, each receiving a minimum of five hours of weekly face‑to‑face contact. Teach, coach, and model parenting skills and effective parent‑child interactions. Advocate and link families to concrete services and supports. Work collaboratively with DCP&P and community service providers. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in counseling or a related field. At least 1.5 years of professional experience in counseling. Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle. Strong engagement, communication, and collaboration skills. Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and the ability to work independently. Ability to analyze work, set goals, develop plans, and use time effectively and efficiently. Compensation & Benefits Base pay: $42,000 per year. $500 sign‑on bonus.
