Human Resources ManagerThe Human Resources Manager owns and continuously improves Frontier's human resources function, including employee relations, recruiting, compliance, performance management, and HR operations. Reporting to the Chief Administration Officer, this role partners closely with leadership to ensure HR practices are efficient, compliant, and aligned with Frontier's values and business objectives. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Sheridan, Wyoming. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. They enjoy building relationships while also driving projects to completion, improving processes, and creating an exceptional employee experience.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & HR SupportServe as the primary resource for employees and managers on HR-related mattersManage employee relations matters with confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgmentGuide managers through performance discussions, coaching, and documentationOwn employee personnel files and HR recordkeepingRecruiting & OnboardingLead the full recruiting lifecycle from job posting through onboardingScreen applicants, coordinate interviews, and manage candidate communicationDevelop recruiting strategies that attract high-quality candidatesOwn new hire onboarding and orientation to create a positive employee experiencePerformance ManagementOwn Frontier's annual performance review processGuide managers on goal setting, performance documentation, and employee developmentAdminister compensation review processesEnsure completion of performance management activities across the firmHR Operations & ComplianceOwn HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updatesEnsure compliance with federal, multi-state, and local employment lawsManage audits, reporting, and HR record retentionOversee required leave administration, employment notices, training, and compliance documentationOrganizational DevelopmentChampion employee engagement initiatives and company cultureDevelop training and professional development programsStrengthen employee communication and internal HR resourcesIdentify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experienceProjects & Continuous ImprovementLead HR projects from planning through implementationDesign more efficient HR processes and workflowsUtilize technology and AI tools where appropriate to improve efficiencyCreate documentation and standard operating procedures for HR processesRecommend improvements that strengthen organizational effectivenessExperience & QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)5–8 years of progressive Human Resources experienceStrong knowledge of employment law and HR best practicesExcellent communication, organizational, and project management skillsHigh attention to detail, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgmentDependable and self-directed, taking ownership of the HR function, adapting to changing priorities, and continuously improving processesBalances empathy with accountability, building trust with employees while supporting managersProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and OutlookPreferredSHRM-CP or PHR certification and experience with BambooHR or another HRIS systemExperience owning performance management, recruiting, or HR process improvement initiativesCompensation & Benefits$70,000 – $100,000, commensurate with experienceMinimum of 4 weeks of earned Paid Time OffPaid HolidaysHealth, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance401(k) with 4% employer matchPotential for an annual bonus
