The Delivery Driver is responsible for the timely, accurate, and safe delivery of automotive parts and supplies to customers throughout the service area. This position serves as a key representative of FATS Auto Parts by providing excellent customer service, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver automotive parts, supplies, and products to commercial and retail customers in a safe and timely manner.
• Verify delivery orders for accuracy prior to departure.
• Load, unload, and secure merchandise to prevent damage during transport.
• Obtain customer signatures and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Operate company vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and local traffic laws.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Assist customers with questions regarding deliveries and order status.
• Pick up returns, cores, and warranty parts as required.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and inventory management when not making deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance of company vehicles.
• Support store operations and assist team members as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Alaska Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record review.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous delivery driving experience.
• Automotive parts knowledge or experience in the automotive industry.
• Familiarity with Anchorage and surrounding communities.
