Wholesale/Excess & Surplus Lines Field Marketing Representative

Overview The Field Marketing Representative visits with BHHC’s wholesale agency partners nationwide to monitor and foster agency relationships while growing a book of business. Responsibilities Understand and communicate BHHC’s non‑admitted property product to assigned wholesale agents. Arrange virtual visits and in‑person travel (approximately 25% of the time) to call on wholesale agents nationwide. Act as the decision maker within the territory regarding agency appointments, commitment levels, terminations, and other disciplinary actions. Identify opportunities for new business by working with agency partners to review in‑force business and collaborating with company underwriters to assist in acquisition and retention of larger accounts. Develop the marketing strategy for the assigned agents. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience. 3–5 years of related work experience. Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance and rating insurance products. Understanding of Excess & Surplus Lines Insurance. Experience working with Wholesale Property Brokers and/or knowledge of Surplus Lines Insurance. Strong relationship‑building skills with larger insurance agencies. Big‑picture thinker capable of developing marketing strategies for the territory. Independent work ethic with the ability to collaborate with team members. Goal‑oriented with excellent time‑management skills.
