As a Thoracic Surgeon within our organization’s healthcare team, you will be at the cutting edge of advancements in thoracic trauma, oncology, and respiratory care. Your responsibilities will include assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with surgical requirements related to the vascular system, as well as performing necessary surgical procedures. By becoming a member of the Medical Corps, you will contribute to the well-being of our Soldiers and the broader community, while also gaining access to exceptional opportunities such as participating in humanitarian missions, receiving leadership training, and enjoying a comprehensive benefits package. Collaborate with top-tier professionals in the field and help push the limits of thoracic surgery.

- Annual repayment of eligible education loans to lending institutions, over a maximum of three years during your service.

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited U.S. medical or osteopathic school; foreign graduates may apply with a permanent certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
- Current medical license to practice in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
- Eligibility for board certification.
- Completion of at least one year of an accredited graduate medical education internship.
- Completion of a thoracic surgery training program.
- Aged between 21 and 42 years (waivers considered on an individual basis).
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
