Technical Service Rep I

Job Title

Level I: 0-3 years. Clear technical understanding of chemistries, products, and projects they support. Contributes to innovative technical solutions to challenging problems. Successful completion of multiple meaningful, projects which bring value to the PPG portfolio.

Role And Responsibilities

Perform general Inventory, Procurement/Purchasing duties and other duties as required in an automotive or manufacturing environment. Candidate must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel, solid organizational skills, and exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written with little supervision.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

Two year technical degree or equivalent experience. Manufacturing experience. Experience in the area of paint and/or hazardous material is a plus.

Preferred Skills

Must score Proficient or higher on the Indeed Excel assessment in order to be considered for this position. Good math and analytical skills to identify and interpret data trends, product sales and ordering history to support customer and to plan future order demand with greater accuracy. Self-motivation, Critical thinking, pro-active problem solving skills and ability to lift heavy objects. Additional Notes This position requires flexibility due to change in the daily work routine. Overtime may be required on occasion. Candidate must be able to pass drug test and background test.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: From $19.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday 2nd shift COVID-19 considerations: All employees are required to wear a clean new mask every day. Masks are provided. Surfaces are sanitized once per shift and disinfectant is provided for personal cleaning of work area as well. Hand sanitizer is provided throughout the facility.
