About the Role As a Store Manager, you will create a welcoming and engaging in-store experience, guide customers in designing products that fit their style and space, and lead a team to deliver extraordinary service. What You’ll Do Build and develop a high-performing team of Associates, encouraging growth and big thinking. Create a respectful and inclusive environment, welcoming and celebrating differences. Recruit, hire, mentor and develop Associates to achieve results. Lead, coach, and inspire the team using Lovesac’s selling process. Guide customers from first interest through to transaction, managing quotes, closing sales and maintaining post‑purchase relationships. Demonstrate product knowledge and educate customers on features and benefits. Build long-term relationships, brand loyalty and repeat business. Ensure store visual appeal aligns with brand standards. Manage store operations: opening/closing, scheduling, inventory, POS, marketing, promotions and ensuring adherence to company standards. Champion company policies and procedures to maintain consistency, safety and customer satisfaction. Maintain proficiency in company tools, systems and in-store technology. Analyze data to drive team behavior and meet key performance indicators. Manage the store P&L, applying business and financial concepts to drive profitability. Build a culture of accountability, meeting sales goals and service standards. Anticipate and resolve issues, escalating to supervisor when needed. Resolve conflicts to maintain a positive environment. Support additional responsibilities requested by Management. Qualifications 18 years of age or older. High‑School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of management experience in a retail environment. Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Proficient with technology for sales and customer support, including product demos and CRM use. Ability to work in-store, support omni-channel experience and assist in remote shifts. Must travel as required to local stores, third‑party vendors and mandatory meetings. Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity and trustworthiness in handling financial transactions and sensitive data. Strong communication and conflict-reolution skills. Physical ability to move furniture up to 75 pounds, lift, bend, kneel, reach and perform required tasks.
