Job Description

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Music Therapy or a related field required
• Board Certification (MT-BC) through the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT)
• Valid Massachusetts music therapy licensure or ability to meet current credentialing requirements
• Experience working with pediatric, school-based, or special education populations is preferred

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Delivering tailored music therapy services to a diverse K12 caseload, collaborating with educators and support staff
• Assessing student needs and designing individualized or group sessions that promote development and learning
• Maintaining accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements
• Engaging with families, teachers, and related service professionals to optimize student outcomes
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the educational planning process when appropriate

This role offers up to 32.5 hours per week onsite, allowing for meaningful collaboration and hands-on work with students and colleagues.
