The Pharmacy Technician supports the Pharmacist in providing Pharmaceutical Care. Receive written prescription or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate. Collect/enter appropriate method of payment from patrons for prescriptions, OTCs andnon-pharmaceutical products purchased. Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs. Answers telephones, responding to questions or requests. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 yearscollege) MINIMUM 2 YRS EXPERIENCE AS PHARMACY TECH preferred Maryland Board of Pharmacy Technicians required.
