VCA All Animal Hospital of Orange Park is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our General Practice team full time !

Veterinary Assistant Duties

• Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery

• Collecting patient histories and assisting with physical exams

• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement

• Laboratory sample collection and processing

• IV, IM, and Subcutaneous medication administration

• Client education and counseling

• Working collaboratively with veterinarians and all hospital departments

• Providing compassionate, high-quality nursing care to all patients

Schedule

Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Rotating Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Flexible scheduling available

Compensation

$17 - $26 per hour , based on skill set, experience, and licensure status

• Veterinary Assistant (VA): $17 - $20/hr

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT): $20 - $26/hr
