About Us:
Central Amusement International Inc. (CAI) is an amusement park development and management company located in Brooklyn, New York City. In 2003, CAI developed Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink in Central Park, and in 2010, Luna
Park in Coney Island, at the site of the birthplace of the amusement industry. CAI is part of the Zamperla Group, which is the worldwide leader in the manufacturing of amusement rides.
Join the thrill at our amusement park as a seasonal Food & Beverage Cashier! As the maestro of transactions, you'll be responsible for elevating guest services and handling the excitement of cash or credit exchanged for scrumptious food and services. Bring your serious cash-handling skills and enthusiasm to ensure a thrilling and secure experience for our guests.

Job Description:
- Embrace a warm and friendly attitude, ensuring every customer feels welcomed and appreciated.
- Take charge of greeting guests with a smile, and handling orders and requests.
- Ability to process payments with detail and minimal errors and follow cash-handling procedures diligently and carefully.
- Stay informed about park offerings, promotions, and menu items to assist guests with their inquiries.
- Collaborate with others and lend a helping hand when needed and as advised by supervisors and/or managers.
- Be proactive in identifying and resolving customer requests, creating a positive and seamless experience.
- Use effective sales techniques to increase sales transactions and contribute to the overall success of the team.
- Be ready to handle various tasks and adapt to the dynamic environment of the amusement park.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization in your work area, upholding our commitment to a tidy and inviting environment.
- Uphold the highest standards by following all CAI policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
- Previous experience in cash handling or customer service is a plus.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to engage with guests and create a positive, memorable experience.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change.
- Availability to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
- Physical stamina for standing and moving throughout the shift.
- Must be outgoing, friendly, courteous, and honest.
- Able to work in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to operate computers and learn software programs.
