Provide exceptional care across all life spans, assess, diagnose, treat, educate patients, collaborate with professionals, ensure comprehensive care and best outcomes. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, deformities including symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties, interactions, and preventive health‑care measures. Practice methods for diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions. Communicate verbally and in writing. Interpersonal skills. Critical thinking and complex problem‑solving skills. Use computers and related software applications. Develop and implement comprehensive outcomes‑based patient treatment plans. Counsel patients about medical and psychological/psychiatric conditions, treatment plans, behavior modification. Interpret and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. 2 years experience as a primary care Nurse Practitioner. Certified primary care Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner. Current Texas Nurse Practitioner license (or ability to obtain one). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Texas RN licensure or RN licensure with compact privilege from a state that is party to the Nurse Licensure Compact for RNs and LVNs & Texas APRN; current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Texas.
