We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support Plant Engineering, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), and Detailed Engineering activities for industrial manufacturing facilities.
The engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams including Process, Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation & Controls, Automation, Operations, Maintenance, EHS and Construction teams to develop cost-effective and reliable electrical solutions for brownfield and greenfield capital projects. Also, projects involving process automation, DCS, PLC, SCADA, field instrumentation, control valves, safety instrumented systems (SIS), and industrial networks.
The candidate will be responsible for electrical system design, power distribution studies, equipment specification, construction support, commissioning assistance, and compliance with US electrical codes and standards also coordination with multidisciplinary teams while learning industry codes, standards and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct site assessments and electrical system evaluations.
· Develop preliminary instrument lists.
· Identify opportunities for plant modernization and digitalization.
· Develop electrical design Basis documents.
· Prepare project scope definitions and technical specifications.
· Perform electrical load estimation and demand calculations.
· Develop single-line diagrams (SLD).
· Develop process control philosophies.
· Define control system requirements.
· Develop Instrumentation Design Basis documents.
· Develop Automation Architecture concepts.
· Evaluate existing facility power infrastructure.
· Support project cost estimation and CapEx planning.
· Review utility power requirements and interconnection needs.
· Participate in HAZOP, PHA, and constructability reviews.
· Standards such as NEC, NFPA, IEC, ISA-84 and industry best practices.
· Design MV and LV electrical distribution systems.
· Develop electrical equipment layouts.
· Size transformers, switchgear, MCCs, and panelboards.
· Design cable routing and tray systems.
· Prepare cable schedules and termination drawings.
· Develop grounding and lightning protection systems.
· Load Flow Analysis.
· Short Circuit Analysis.
· Arc Flash Analysis.
· Voltage Drop Calculations.
· Protective Device Coordination Studies.
· Motor Starter & Control Studies.
· Harmonic Analysis
· Medium Voltage Switchgear, Low Voltage Switchgear, MCCs, Transformers, UPS Systems, VFDs, Soft Starters, Motors, Emergency Generators, Lighting Systems, Protection Coordination, Metering, Ethernet/IP , Profinet , PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI /MMI, batch Control, SIS, Modbus TCP/IP , Modbus RTU, Control Valve, ESD, Instruments :Pressure Flow Temperature Level Analytical
· Review vendor drawings and technical submittals.
· Support FAT and SAT activities.
· Interface with operations and maintenance teams.
· Perform electrical system troubleshooting.
· Support plant outages and shutdown projects.
· Provide recommendations for reliability improvements.
· Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
· Assist with facility expansion and modernization projects.
· Support installation verification activities.
· Conduct field inspections and punch-list closure.
· Support commissioning and startup activities.
· Verify compliance with design specifications.
· Loop checks.
· Instrument calibration verification.
· IO checkout, Interlock verification
· Assist in plant acceptance testing & Startup support.

Qualifications
· Master's Degree preferred
· B.E./B.Tech in “Electrical” or “Electrical & Power” or “Electrical & Instrumentation” Engineering
· PMP certification

Proficiency in: MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint. AI (Copilot / ChatGPT)
