Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-focused Cannabis Delivery Driver / Budtender to join our delivery team. The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering cannabis products and related merchandise to customers while maintaining strict compliance with all applicable state and local cannabis regulations.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable working independently, and committed to providing excellent customer service. This position requires careful attention to detail, accurate handling of orders and cashless/cash transactions as permitted, and strict adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport cannabis products from the licensed retail facility to customers.
• Verify customer identification and eligibility before completing deliveries.
• Ensure every delivery is made only to an authorized customer and approved delivery location.
• Accurately verify orders before leaving the facility.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and required documentation.
• Follow all required cannabis tracking and delivery procedures.
• Maintain the security and integrity of cannabis products while in possession of company inventory.
• Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Follow all traffic laws and company vehicle policies.
• Provide professional, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service.
• Communicate with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, customer issues, or other concerns.
• Handle customer questions and resolve routine delivery issues professionally.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and secure.
• Immediately report accidents, lost or damaged products, suspicious activity, or regulatory concerns to management.
• Follow all company safety, security, and compliance procedures.
• Perform other duties related to delivery operations as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable California cannabis delivery employment requirements.
• Valid California driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
• Ability to pass required background screening, if applicable.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
• Ability to use a smartphone and delivery/point-of-sale applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
• Previous cannabis industry, delivery, courier, retail, security, or customer service experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
• Ability to safely enter and exit a vehicle repeatedly throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and carry packages within company-defined limits.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the shift.

Schedule

This position may include:

• Weekday and weekend shifts
• Daytime and evening shifts
• Holidays, depending on business needs
• Flexible scheduling may be available
