Per Diem Anesthesiologist Opportunity

Somnia Anesthesia is seeking a per diem anesthesiologist in Long Island, NY. The practice offers a great culture, flexible scheduling, and attractive compensation.

Compensation: Per diem compensation is $300/hour, and medical professional liability insurance is provided.

Practice environment: The position is at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY. The hospital has 10 operating rooms, is a 533-bed teaching hospital, and is a Level I trauma center with a focus on OB/trauma/neuro/ortho cases.

Approximate case volumes include 8,200 annual cases, 1,300 trauma cases (75% surgical), 1,350 ortho cases, 100 neurological cases, and 1,200 OB deliveries. The hospital does not handle heart cases or pediatrics and offers a collaborative practice with an inviting work style.

Qualifications: Active NY license, DEA, board certified, ACLS, PALS, BLS.
