Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Michigan

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Clare, Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time schedule with two weekends per month; no on-call requirements

Highlights:

• Provide direct patient care in a dynamic emergency department setting with varied case mix including acute, non-acute, and life-threatening conditions
• Utilize advanced clinical skills performing triage, assessment, complex procedures, and emergency interventions
• Work independently to initiate immediate care in critical situations and provide pre-hospital guidance via ambulance radio communication
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and revise patient treatment plans
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to qualify

Requirements:

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse license (verified through LARA and/or Nursys)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department/ER nursing experience required
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Active Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Current skills checklist (within 1 year) specific to emergency nursing
• Two supervisory reference forms dated within the last two years
• Travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification highly preferred
