Who are we looking for? At GHD we are looking for a new Graduate Marketing & Pursuit Coordinator to support the day-to-day business development, proposal, and administrative needs of the Highways, Roads, and Bridges business at all California GHD offices, plus Phoenix. This is an entry-level role for someone who is organized, detail oriented, comfortable working in Microsoft Word, and interested in building a career in marketing and pursuits within a professional services environment. The role will primarily support smaller, self-led proposals and qualifications packages by gathering and organizing resumes, project descriptions, and other standard content, formatting and assembling documents, coordinating inputs, and helping teams meet submission requirements. The position will also support business development administration, including maintaining Salesforce records, developing and updating marketing content, and assisting with other business group coordination tasks. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Support smaller, self-led proposals and qualifications packages from initial setup through final production and submission. Gather, organize, and maintain resumes, project descriptions, staff information, and other reusable proposal content. Format and assemble proposal documents in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint using established templates and brand standards. Coordinate proposal inputs, track deadlines, follow up with contributors, and help confirm submission requirements are addressed. Perform document quality checks for consistency, completeness, formatting, grammar, and compliance with client instructions. Create and update project descriptions, staff resumes, capability statements, and other marketing materials in coordination with technical staff and marketing resources. Maintain and update business development information in Salesforce, including opportunities, activities, contacts, and other required entries. Help organize pursuit files, content libraries, trackers, and shared resources so information is current and easy to find. Support business group administrative tasks tied to business development, client activities, pipeline tracking, meetings, and reporting. Work with project managers, technical staff, business development leads, and marketing professionals across multiple offices and deadlines. Build knowledge of GHD services, clients, markets, and proposal practices through hands-on support and coaching. What You Will Bring To The Team Education Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Experience 0-2 year's experience in related field. Interest in building a career in marketing, business development, and pursuits within the professional services industry. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, with the ability to format multi-page documents accurately and consistently. Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with InDesign, Microsoft Copilot, or other AI-enabled productivity tools is helpful but not required. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines. Clear written and verbal communication skills and careful attention to detail. Ability to follow established processes, ask good questions, and work both independently and as part of a team. Comfort working with technical staff and turning source information into clear, well‑organized content. Experience with Salesforce or another customer relationship management system is helpful but not required. Salary Range: $ 32.09 - 53.49/hour based on experience.
