Your Role and Responsibilities

Essential Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Illinois
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a suitable equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to obtain these within 90 days
