See our benefits summary below.POSITION SUMMARY:The Warehouse & Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and transportation logistics to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate product flow. This role leads warehouse staff and drivers, manages inventory and shipping activities, and coordinates delivery routing to meet customer needs. The position combines leadership, operational oversight, and hands‑on support.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, staging, and shipping of productsManage inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and proper product handling proceduresPlan and coordinate delivery routes, dispatch schedules, and transportation logisticsSupervise, train, coach, and schedule warehouse employees and driversMonitor operational performance and address issues related to productivity, safety, and serviceEnsure timely and accurate order fulfillment and delivery to customersMaintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations (DOT, OSHA, etc.)Coordinate with internal teams to align warehouse and delivery operations with business needsMaintain organized facilities, equipment, and documentation to support efficient operationsSupport continuous improvement efforts to enhance workflow, efficiency, and service levelsPerforms other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalentAdditional training or education in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred3+ years of experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, or transportation operations, with leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong understanding of inventory management, routing, and dispatching practicesMaintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordCDL preferred but not requiredExcellent leadership and coaching skillsStrong communication and problem‑solving skillsBasic computer skills for tracking operations, inventory, and reportingRead, write, and speak English and perform basic math calculationsWillingness to work in an indoor warehouse environment with temperatures fluctuations due to seasonal weather conditionsAbility to lift up to 70 lbs., and perform physical tasks as neededNote: Job responsibilities may change over time based on business needs.About Furst-McNess Company:For more than a century, Furst-McNess Company has been a trusted leader in animal nutrition, delivering innovative feed, mineral, and management solutions to livestock producers across the United States.
