Job Description

The Physical Therapist provides evaluation and therapy services, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transition of care, in an efficient, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive manner upon licensed independent practitioner referral.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform state of the art physical therapy evaluation, coupled with 3D Motion Capture, in the evaluation and assessment of pediatric patients with complex movement difficulties.

• Provide clinical support by performing physical examinations, data collection and integration & interpretation of kinematic, kinetic, electromyographic, foot pressure, and clinical data into a comprehensive report for treatment decision making.

• Participate in gait and biomechanics research and providing education to the community and medical staff. 

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary clinical team in the development of evidence-based treatment planning for our patients.

• Work with medical staff and the multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized plans of care to meet the needs of the pediatric patients and their family.

Required Qualifications:

• Current CA Physical Therapist licensure (or eligibility) by the California Board of Medical Examiners

• CPR/BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of PT experience

• Pediatric experience

• PCS, OCS, or NCS

The pay range for this position is $46.68 - $90.45. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
