Job Description
The Physical Therapist provides evaluation and therapy services, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transition of care, in an efficient, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive manner upon licensed independent practitioner referral.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform state of the art physical therapy evaluation, coupled with 3D Motion Capture, in the evaluation and assessment of pediatric patients with complex movement difficulties.
Provide clinical support by performing physical examinations, data collection and integration & interpretation of kinematic, kinetic, electromyographic, foot pressure, and clinical data into a comprehensive report for treatment decision making.
Participate in gait and biomechanics research and providing education to the community and medical staff.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary clinical team in the development of evidence-based treatment planning for our patients.
Work with medical staff and the multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized plans of care to meet the needs of the pediatric patients and their family.
Required Qualifications:
Current CA Physical Therapist licensure (or eligibility) by the California Board of Medical Examiners
CPR/BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of PT experience
Pediatric experience
PCS, OCS, or NCS
