Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility
- Monitor resident response to treatment and report progress or changes to the Physical Therapist
- Ensure resident safety during therapy sessions and transfers
- Document treatment provided in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Educate residents on exercises and safe mobility techniques
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident care goals
- Comply with state, federal, and facility policies and procedures
