Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract About the unit: MEDSURG - ORTHO Number of Beds - 36 Number of Staff – 75 Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 Charge, 8 RNs, 3 PCTs, 1 Unit clerk Night Shift – 1 Charge, 8 RNs, 3 PCTs Patient Ratios – 5-6:1 Type of equipment – traction, external fixators, halos, walkers, gait belts, bed alarms, continuous pulse ox, remote telemetry monitoring EMR – Meditech Requirements: Minimum 1-year current acute care MedSurg hospital experience BLS certification This position is available as a travel contract for those 50 miles from the facility.
