As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Specialist in Plano, TX , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $19.95 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM How This Role Works Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. Responsibilities Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels and documenting security‑related activity as required. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify credentials, badges, and/or visitor authorizations in accordance with site protocols while maintaining awareness of restricted and sensitive areas. Support Allied Universal reporting processes by completing detailed logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports related to patrol observations, access control activity, and/or response actions. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A CPR certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security‑related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
