Field Service Representative

The selected candidate will be a member of the GDLS JBLM/Sumner team supporting the UKR Ops chat. Position Responsibilities: Coordinate and interface with customer representatives at command level, as well as senior program manager office representatives. Monitor and maintain configuration management for Stryker variant of vehicles in Poland. Monitor "SIGNAL APP" 24/7 chat. Must be able to articulate troubleshooting techniques in written (text) form promptly, professionally, politely, and accurately. Use skills, abilities, and workload demands to set mission priorities and maintain Operational Readiness Float (ORF) in the Poland FRA and down range. Conduct hands on training or sustainment training program for General Dynamics Land Systems mechanics, and M&E contractors. Oversee and assist with preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on all Stryker variants to include sub-components and LRUs pertaining to the Stryker Platform. Oversee and troubleshoot and correct malfunctions in automotive systems (full up power-pack FUPP (engine, transmission, cooling), fuel, exhaust, driveline and suspension ) using built in test equipment (BITE), test equipment and/or manual troubleshooting procedures (MTPs), common and special tools and applicable technical documentation. Complete maintenance and administrative forms and other paperwork (reports) related to performance of duties. Provide property accountability for all assigned property. Assistance for property accountability where needed. Perform all duties in accordance with ISO processes. Perform duties as site Field Representative; Environmental, Hazmat, Safety, Fire prevention and administrative functions. Position Requirements: Must be certified graduate of the Stryker FSR Academy Must have High School Diploma and/or GED Read and interpret troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures and flow diagrams for systems, subsystems and components. Travel to remote CONUS/OCONUS locations on short notice to support contingency operations. Work in improved and unimproved maintenance facilities, as well as other field environment and work duty locations as required. Occasional work in confined space within vehicle interior. Potential for exposure to temperature extremes in performance of duties. Physical requirements: Must pass and maintain company deployment requirements. Must meet and maintain ASR guidelines for driver's station entry as described in Standard Practice 2-644. Dexterity in fingers of both hand Carry 70lbs (tool box or parts) up to 50'. Multicultural work experience preferred. Administrative and office skills required (Microsoft Office, EXCEL and Power Point). (May be required to demonstrate abilities). Must be able to obtain and maintain successful NACI background for CAC (Common Access Card). Must be a U.S. person. Must be able to gain and maintain access to all military installations in which the work is performed. Position Salary Range: New hires generally start between $87,500 to $92,000 per year. Applicant's placement within the range is based on qualifications and professional experience. The full salary range for the position is between $68,100 and $104,200 per year. Position Incentive: Hired applicant will be able to receive an annual bonus.
