The Sunny is a new oceanfront hotel in Sunny Isles Beach, marking the transformation of the historic Newport Beachside Hotel into a modern beachfront destination. The 340-room property blends thoughtful design with a strong food and beverage program, multiple dining concepts, and a series of lively social spaces designed for both guests and the local community.

Family-owned for three generations, the property builds on decades of hospitality on one of South Florida's most storied beachfront sites. Overview

Are you a highly motivated and experienced housekeeping professional looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the hospitality industry? If so, our Assistant Director of Housekeeping position may be the perfect opportunity for you!

As an Assistant Director of Housekeeping, you will support the daily operations of the housekeeping department while helping maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel or resort.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality-related education preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in hotel or resort housekeeping, including supervisory experience
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
