We're partnering with an innovative and rapidly growing technology business that is transforming how financial data is extracted, structured, and delivered through cutting-edge AI, NLP, and machine learning technologies.

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a high-calibre engineering team building the infrastructure behind a sophisticated financial data platform. You'll play a key role in developing scalable APIs, expanding microservices architecture, and helping bring valuable structured data products to market.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong Python development experience, particularly with FastAPI
• Excellent knowledge of GraphQL and REST APIs
• Experience working with databases and data warehouses
• CI/CD, DevOps and software engineering best practices
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile environment
• Ability to work autonomously and contribute ideas

Highly advantageous:

• Experience within FinTech, payments, financial services, or startup environments
• AWS experience
• Knowledge of React, Strawberry GraphQL, or PostGraphile
• Experience working with financial data products
