Case Services Specialist (CJS)

Summary Of Position

This is a paraprofessional position that provides clerical and administrative support to case workers, supervisors, and the assistant county attorney. This position involves clerical tasks and direct contact with clients on the crisis hotline, for records procurement, and for adoption subsidies/Medicaid cases and RGAP subsidy cases. This position is designed to support various functions throughout the child welfare process, including but not limited to CBI/FBI database and records, collaboration with community organizations and donations.

Example Of Duties

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED. A minimum of two (2) years working in human services, social services setting or related equivalent. A combination of education and experience may be considered. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS: This position requires successful completion of a criminal background check including fingerprinting through a national database, successfully completing CJIS training.
