An exciting full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide essential services for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract role is based near Albany and Salem, and centers on supporting students in both in-person and teletherapy settings. You'll collaborate closely with a dynamic educational team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
This role offers highly competitive hourly compensation, ranging from $50–$60 per hour, along with comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance options.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain it before the school year begins
- Experience in school-based and pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Proficiency in teletherapy delivery methods is a plus
- Knowledge of best practices for serving diverse student populations
What You Will Do:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school-aged population
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services in classrooms and via telehealth platforms
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to best support each student’s communication skills
- Maintain detailed documentation and track student progress per state and federal guidelines
- Provide guidance for support staff, including Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), as needed
