Maintenance Mechanic (FDIC)

Job Summary EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for Maintenance Mechanic in Arlington, VA. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Conduct a routine assessment of the building systems operations. Perform tests, tours and analyze data to assure the proper operation of building machinery. Perform minor repairs, preventive maintenance and service requests on building equipment, machinery and components located in the interior or exterior of the building. Perform maintenance on all plumbing in buildings including water and sanitation systems. Perform snow removal. Train Maintenance Helpers to increase their skills. Assist Engineers. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 3 – 6 years’ experience in a commercial environment. Current CFC Universal License. 2 years EMS experience. Must be able to work any shift assigned. Must be willing to work weekends. Must be able to work overtime. Must be able to work safely. Must be a self‑starter. Must be willing to adhere to company policies. Physical Demands Work requires an abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, and working in uncomfortable positions.
