Selden Fox, Ltd. is a mid-sized CPA firm offering a comprehensive range of accounting, auditing, tax, and management services. Established in 1978, the firm's principal goal is to provide quality service by becoming familiar with all aspects of their clients' business. This allows the firm to provide a personal level of service to its clients. Expanding beyond the usual accounting and auditing role, Selden Fox fosters an entrepreneurial environment, which allows for both personal and professional growth.
Audit Associates participate in a variety of engagements for privately held corporations, governmental and not-for-profit entities. Industries that we serve include manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, communications, printing and publishing, financial institutions, real estate, private clubs, governments, not-for-profit, and service industries. Although an auditor is primarily involved in the accounting and auditing of an entity, the position may also involve the preparation of corporate tax returns.
We seek bright and assertive individuals with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and prefer a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale including courses heavily weighted in accounting. Candidates must be computer savvy (Microsoft Office products), possess outstanding communication skills, and enjoy regular client interaction at various locations. Travel is primarily limited to Chicago metropolitan area, with occasional overnight travel. Overnight travel can range from 0%-10%.
