Key Responsibilities
- Utilize radiographic and CT techniques to procure top-notch diagnostic images for physicians
- Work closely with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure precise diagnoses
- Correctly position patients and calibrate imaging equipment for superior quality
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols for the well-being of patients and staff
- Keep accurate records, including imaging logs and equipment assessments
- Offer compassionate care before, during, and after imaging procedures
- Help maintain a safe and organized imaging setting
Educational Qualifications
- A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is an advantage
- Graduation from an accredited radiographic program is mandatory
Necessary Certifications
- ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography) is a must
- Current CPR certification or ability to secure one within 90 days post-hire
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging procedures and safety standards
