Ab Initio DeveloperResearching, designing, and developing complex components for Ab Initio applications with quality codingInteracting with analysts and end users for information requirementsCoding Ab Initio graphs and components using ETL tools (Ab Initio GDE) and ensuring they are in line with user requirementsTuning Ab Initio process by maximizing the use of components and MFS file system to achieve a reduction of total process time.Storing, retrieving, and manipulating data by building queries for system analysis and requirementsImplementing design decisions using design patterns and plans in Ab Initio and creating UNIX wrapper scripts to handle the complex transformation logicPerforming unit testing, coding, design, and documentationExecuting deliverables to ensure the deadlines are met in a timely mannerKey RequirementsYou have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems, or a related field.You have prior Ab Initio development experience, including experience in deployment architectures, debugging, and troubleshooting graphs.You have solid experience in handling large volumes of data and are well-versed in data integration, batch processing, delta processing, and data capturing.You have a strong understanding and hands-on scripting/programming experience skills - UNIX shell scripts and Python.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with the ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks.You possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.You are a team player with good communication skills to be able to interact with various stakeholders.You are detail-oriented, take pride in delivering high-quality work, and organize and deliver work in a timely manner.
