Meeting Room Attendant

The purpose of the position is to establish, maintain, and update the hotel's meeting rooms in accordance with the sales contract and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of banquet and meeting rooms.
• Ensure that all banquet and meeting rooms are properly configured in a timely manner, so that banquet service staff can prepare for functions.
• Assist banquet employees during functions.
• Responsible for putting everything back in place after the event's completion.
• Ensure that all rooms have water.

Qualifications

Education/Training

No formal education required.

Experience

Previous experience in the banquet area is desirable.

Knowledge/Skills

• Minimal literacy required; can use alternative training tools.

• Mobility: ability to reach all areas of responsibility which includes: shelves, windows, ledges, pipes, under and around furniture.
• Continuous standing: standing and/or walking continuously to accomplish all that is required for the position.
• Climbing stairs - approximately 40 steps 15% of 40 weekly hours.
• Driving is not required.

Work Environment

Inside 80% of 8 hours.
